What does the town say about you?: Three months ago Albie and his sister moved to Annaway Bay looking for a new start. Their father walked out on them on their mom when he was only 11 and since then they were raised by there mom. She never got remarried and just before they came to Mississippi she died. Mississippi is the state where most of their father's family lives now and their own personal quest is to find their father and his family here. However for now they're trying to get over their mother's death and start a new life.

The town tends to think Albie and his sister Ruth have a somewhat incestual relationship with each other, though that's entirely not true. They're a loving family who only have each other to support and though they are very close and warm to each other they are far from what the people of this town say. Aside from mourning they're trying to come to grips with this new town and find new adventures.

The town tends to come down hard on them, especially his clumsy sister. He's a quiet boy who never gets into trouble. The least they could do is cut him some slack for his efforts, but their words keep getting more brutal.

Appearance/Clothing: He has a rough appearance that would make most people think he was homeless or liked begin dirty. You'll find him in ratty clothing half the time and the other half in nice button up shirts and simple jeans. He doesn't like getting dressed up or anything like that and he hardly combs his hair. He's a scruffy guy but those eyes will make you think he was a big teddy bear.
Distinguishing Marks: He has a birthmark below his hairline on his neck, it's a reddish color like dots in a small area.

Personality:

Description: He tends to be a very warm person, but when people look at him for the first time all they see is a hard exterior. He used to be outgoing and funny, though since his mom died that light inside him seemed to have died out. It's sad really that he hides like he does from everyone around him. This man loves nothing more than kicking back and having a laugh.

He makes friends easily and he's not hard to get along with. No one really gives him the time of day or else he'd be the most popular guy in all of Annaway in a heart beat. It's easier to judge him than give him a chance for these people. He hopes to god that someone will finally give him the time of day.

Albie is a loving man as much as he is funny and warm. He has a strong romantic side to him and he loves to swoon people when he's really interested. His favorite thing to do is make them want him as much as he wants them by showing them how much he cares. Once he's in for something he gives his heart and soul.
Likes: Women, romance novels, college classes, the lake, chocolate covered food
Strengths: Intelligent, strong from working out, most people are afraid of him, he takes charge, outgoing, able to see the bigger picture
Fears: Losing his little sister, never seeing his mom again, getting married and divorcing, finding his father, seeing something happen to his family, meeting his dad's side of the family

3. It can be from any other site, and it doesn't have to be about this particular character. We just want to see how well you write.

Sample Rp:

Merran stood up with a word to him. She knew now the consequences of how stupid she could really be. Another man, another heart, another tear. However Daniel wasn't just another rift in that dead heart of hers. He was a gaping, aching, flooding hole that could never be repaired. It was sad really, how much she truly loved him. and yet she pulled this off.

Tears streamed down her face as she walked away. Her only hope was for someone to jump out and rip her in half right then and there. It would be a miracle from the lord if they did. All she wanted was to die. If she couldn't be with Daniel then what did she have? He was her one and only. William was a lust, a want that she thought she needed. Daniel was both a want and a need. And she needed him desperately.

She closed her eyes as she walked, stepping out onto the road eventually. From there she walked down the street, pulling out one of the guns from her pocket. It was a small one, loaded with UV rounds. Only for emergencies. It was an emergency. She just held it in her hand and picked up the phone she had been given in order to keep in touch with Daniel when she went out. Slowly she dialed his number and when someone picked up she spoke.

"I love you." She told them, trying to hold back sobs and cries. "Make sure our baby's far away from William. Take her in and don't ever let her know what's happened to all of us. As far as she'll be informed I died from sun exposure and William isn't her real father."

Then she hung up, thinking how weird it really seemed. She always saw it in movies, heard about it. Suicide was one thing she had never considered though, and now it seemed like a pretty good deal, her soul for no more pain.

Merran closed her eyes and put the UV round to her head, shooting it instantly, not a second thought. It went in cleaned, spreading the contents of the round through her head, down her spine. She dropped to the ground, convulsed and then laid there.

But she could still breathe. Her eyes flicked closed as she tried to think about why that hadn't worked. Now her body was coursing with the substitute light, burning her insides, but never killing them enough to get rid of her.

She sobbed, resting her face in the ground trying to muffle cries.
